Who is Dan Tanner?

Hello there and welcome to a little about me. My name is Dan Tanner I'm a husband, father and grandfather and I'm proud of it.  With 8 children between us and 7 grandchildren. My wife and I have our own Brady Bunch scenario here.  Sorry if some of you did not get that one.

I'm  Originally from Pottstown , PA  and grew up in the Philadelphia area suburbs. I have now lived in Northern Maine for the past 17 years.  I have held various jobs over the years as a grille cook, retail sales, Archery instructor, truck driver, dock worker, forklift operator, assembler, farm hand, maintenance worker, supervisor and so on. These experiences has put me in many different situations with many different types of people.  I guess you could say I can get along with anybody for the most part .   

I have always had a thing for photos and photography since the day I became a father. Those pics of my children are frozen moments in time. Something that I don't ever want to forget, something I can share with my children and now their children too. I want you to have the same opportunity as time goes on.

 I do place an equal focus on the overall experience with clients on trying  to capture the perfect photo, one that will be cherished forever. 

Kind of like this silly picture of me and my niece. It just looks silly with baby carrots hanging out of our lips pretending to be a walrus, but its also a moment I never want to forget. I do however promise that I will never show up to any of our sessions with walrus tusks. The rest of my face you will have to deal with :)

I will be capturing your special moments with photography that is natural , relaxed and beautifully lit by mother nature. My style is a little different than most, as you can see. Look forward to seeing you!

(It has been a while since we did our photo session but I highly recommend Dan for any kind of pictures you would like done. He is absolutely amazing and does a beautiful job capturing memories. I love everyone of our pictures he did. It's not easy picking a favorite cause they are all amazing!! Trust me you will not be disappointed in Dan's work at all !! )
